'Occupy Nigeria 2' Protest To Take Place In Portharcourt

A group of activists and students are planning a protest in Port Harcourt under the aegis of 'Occupy Nigeria 2'

According to the group, the aim of the protest is to pressure the federal government into resolving the fuel and economic crises afflicting the country, among other demands.

The group said they had originally scheduled the protest for Thursday, April 14 but delayed it due to the death of the UNIPORT student, Peter Ofurum who was killed during the UNIPORT
students' protest on Monday.

The group also wants the federal government to look into the issue of increased electricity tariff without improved services, incessant fraudulent bank charges and the falling Naira issue.
